Division and Team Information - MASHA

MASHA is the Metro Atlanta Street Hockey Association, a competitive recreational streethockey league that has been in existence here in the Atlanta area since the mid-1970's.

We currently have approximately 200 players playing in our 2 leagues and are adding new players each and every season as more and more people hear about our league.

We run a weekend league where we have 8 teams playing in 2 divisions: Division 1 for the elite and experienced players (most of these players are from Northeastern USA or Canada) and Division 2 for the newer players and aging veterans who still want to keep playing but may not be able to continue playing at the higher level of Division 1.

We also run a very competitive Tuesday Nite draft league.

Our weekend league is played on Sunday mornings at the SJS/Kudzu Hockey rink near Spaghetti Junction (Northcrest Rd.) Our Tuesday draft league plays at Union Hill Park in Alpharetta.

We run 10 game seasons plus playoffs so we usually have 4 seasons a year: Winter (starting in Jan.), Spring (starting in April), Summer (starting in June) and Fall (starting in Sept.)

We are ALWAYS looking for new players to join our league, whether they have hockey experience or not! Because streethockey is played on foot, we've gotten A LOT of soccer players into our league as well as a lot of ice and roller hockey players who are looking for something a little different and less expensive.
